Description

Elymus canadensis is a native clump-forming grass with stiff, bristly plumes or grass heads appearing in early to mid summer. The foliage is blue-green and coarse. Canada Wild Rye is best suited for a prairie or a naturalized area where it will be kept in check by the competition of other plants.
