Garlic Mustard (Alliaria petiolata)
[al-ee-AIR-ee-ah pet-ee-oh-LAY-tah]
|
Why Like |
This invasive perennial has spread throughout the woods, most apparent in late may when the woods is covered with banks of its white flowers. Pull them up when you see them in bloom... but bag them -- they can still go to seed for days after being removed from the ground! |
